SOLVENO equipment for heating poultry houses

SOLVENO equipment has been manufactured in Ukraine since 2015. Using our engineering experience and the experience of technologists from leading poultry farms, we have developed and produced equipment with innovative features that best meet the needs of the agricultural sector. In this article, we will talk about one of them – the SOLVENO RMX-ACV vertical fan heater.

This is a heating device whose heat source is hot water coming from a boiler house (solid fuel, biogas, gas, etc.). Vertical fan heaters are installed along the central axis of the house at an equal distance from each other. The heated air is distributed horizontally, directly above the birds’ heads. The ideal horizontal air flow is achieved by using a 6-sided diffuser. The air never blows on the birds, but at the same time creates a dense warm stream over them.

The air flow can be adjusted in six directions by air valves.

THE MAIN ADVANTAGES OF USING THESE FAN HEATERS IN A POULTRY HOUSE:

Elimination of temperature stratification, removal of overheated air from the ceiling and supply of heat to the level of the chickens where it is really needed. Energy savings of 10-30%.

• The heated air is distributed over the litter, drying it out, which eliminates the problem of wet litter and, as a result, poultry foot disease and high humidity.
• Absence of stagnant zones in the center of the house, which is especially important for poultry houses with a width of more than 20 meters.
• Heating of cold outside air before it is supplied to the chick area. In poultry houses with a negative pressure system, outside air enters the house through the inlet valves and rises to the ceiling. There it is picked up by a fan heater and the chickens always get fresh, heated air.
• Reducing the concentration of CO2 and ammonia in the house. Harmful gases accumulate near the litter and are removed faster due to the constant flow of air over the birds. With a traditional heating system, much more ventilation is required to remove them.
• Efficient cooling of adult poultry in summer. To do this, turn off the hot water supply to the heat exchanger and use only the fan. With the help of a diffuser, the fan creates a stream of air above the bird, which cools the bird.

Today, the uninterrupted operation of our fan heaters at Ukrainian poultry farms has been confirmed by the 10-year service life of our fans.
