Design solution

Eight SOLVENO RGAX 100 gas guns, with heat output of 100kW and air volume of 7,500m3/h, have been installed in each poultry house.

The RGAX 100 gas guns were designed based on the requirements and wishes of the experts of the Vinnytsia Poultry Farm, taking into account their experience in poultry breeding and operating heating equipment – 4,000 gas guns at the time.

In addition to standard functions, we were also required and managed to implement the following:

• Maximum autonomy of operation, given the large amount of equipment installed and the huge number of poultry houses;
• At least IP65 protection to enable high pressure washing and to reduce time for sanitary cleaning between cycles;
• Automatic switch-off in case of gas failure and automatic switch-on when gas supply is restored;
• Fan run out after switching off the burner, to remove residual heat from the combustion chamber and provide additional air destratification.

Components by leading European manufacturers were used to produce the heat generators:

• Axial fan by ZIEHL-ABEGG (Germany) ensures exceptional reliability and low noise emissions;
• Automation assembled using European components by Siemens, SIT, Honeywell;

Design of our equipment features the following advantages:

• The combustion group is designed so that the combustion process is as efficient as possible with a high degree of combustion, as evidenced by the homogeneous blue colour of the flame. Due to this, there is no need for a barrier plate – all the heat goes into the room and is not wasted to heat the metal surfaces.
• Durable casing made of AISI 304 stainless steel and burner made of heat resistant AISI 310 stainless steel.
• High pressure washer with water jets, because the automatic control panel and the gas valve have the IP65 protection.
• Minimum involvement of service personnel in case of sudden gas supply interruption, the automation switches the heater into standby mode and automatically switches it on when gas supply is restored.
• Gas savings due to fan run out after the burner has been switched off
