Information about the facility

Two poultry houses 21mx78m, broiler breeding, number of birds 26,000 each, a solid fuel boiler supplies heating medium with the temperature of 80/60°C.

Design solution

Two poultry houses 21mx78m, broiler breeding, number of birds 26,000 each, a solid fuel boiler supplies heating medium with the temperature of 80/60°C.

According to the calculation of heat losses for one poultry house, a maximum heat consumption in the poultry house is 300kW at a temperature inside the poultry house of +20°C, the estimated winter temperature outside is -22°C.

For heating, 6 RMX 63ACO fan heaters were installed, each with a heating capacity of 56kW (at T_room=+20°C, water 80/60°C), fan airflow – 7.700m3/h.

Fan heaters are installed along the walls of the poultry house, under the air inlet valves, using brackets with two rotating frames. The first frame allows a 180° rotation of the fan heater along the vertical axis. The second frame turns it towards the wall in a service position so as not to interfere with sanitary treatment of the room.

At the customer’s request, adjustable louvres were installed on the outlet nozzle of the fan heater. This enables vertical regulation of the airflow angle.

The fan heater is cleaned using high-pressure water jets. This is done by opening the latches and swinging the casing with the fan away from the heat exchanger on hinges, so that maintenance personnel is able to access and wash all the parts.
