Four vertical heaters RMX-93 ACV were used for heating, with heating capacity of 72 kW at Troom=20C.
The heaters are installed along the central axis of the turkey house. The heat is distributed horizontally, over the heads of the birds. The air creates a dense, warm air flow.
The heated air dries the bedding, which solves the problem of turkey leg disease and high humidity inside the turkey house.
The heating technology is designed so that heated water is continuously supplied from the boiler house and a fan heater constantly blows heat into the turkey house. This maintains an even temperature in the turkey house and dry bedding, thus expressly distinguishing this heating system from a gas heater. Gas heaters cause temperature fluctuations and when they are switched off, overheated air inevitably builds up under the ceiling, cooling the walls and causing the bedding to soak.
