Number of broilers – 35.000 birds;
Slaughtering weight – 2.3kg at 42 days;

According to the heat loss calculator for the poultry house, the poultry house will consume the maximum amount of heat under the following conditions:

at an outside temperature of -21C;
at the 5^th week;
at a bird weight of 2.1kg
at a minimum ventilation of 0.5m3/h per 1kg live weight;

These conditions require 330kW of heat at 20°C in the poultry house

For heating, vertical fans with a six-sided air diffuser were installed.

The heated air is distributed over the hens’ heads and the bedding, thus drying the bedding.

The air is distributed through six nozzles. Each nozzle is equipped with an adjustable valve. By adjusting the position of the valve, it is possible to change the length of the air jet in each direction. In this way, the most efficient air and heat distribution in the hen house can be set.
